Learning to Love Unconditionally Part 2/2
Love is something that we seek but do we know what love truly is? Love is enriching in every way, but finding the wrong type of love can be harmful. We may aim to be a more loving person, but how do we achieve that daily? When you think about love, what do you see? We may have a movie-like vision of love, but it’s not always the way it looks on the screen. There are many aspects to love, and when we explore what it truly is, we can lead a more fulfilled life by learning to love unconditionally.
Today, we continue to explore what agape love means and how kindness is a real strength. We discuss the transformational effects of agape love and why it's not always a 50/50 thing. We explore the impact of competition and contempt in relationships and how a self-seeking attitude affects your ability to love. We share why forgiveness and sacrifice can lead you to a proper form of love. We also discuss how mercy for ourselves is essential for living with love and share a daily reflection you can use to help you be more loving.
"Love is a verb, don't go looking for it. Start producing it and you will be amazed at what shows up in your life." - Dr. Matt Hook
