The show will normally be live within a week or two of us recording it.
We’ll record using Zoom. You’ll get a link sent to you around 10 minutes before we’re due to record.
Why Now?
My goal with the podcast is to feature the mental health and life changing value of Christianity.
People will really respond to your story and experiences following “the Way.”

What You Can Expect From The Interview
The format is a 30-60 minutes conversation between just us, aimed at sharing your story.
I will introduce you first and the conversation will be free-flowing and not scripted, but it may be helpful to think through the following types of questions before we talk.
The Questions I’ll Ask You, And Why
How did you get here?
This is a brief warm up question that helps our listeners get to know you and establishes your credibility. Think of this as the Cliff Notes of your journey so far…and remember we only have 30-60 minutes in total!
We all struggled on our spiritual/mental health journey somewhere… What was tough for you?
Where are you now with that?
How did you overcome it?
What was the turning point?
What do you know now that you wish you had known earlier?
If We Have Time…
I may ask about your daily spiritual practice(s). People find it helpful to hear this practical advice.
And Finally…
I want to raise awareness of your work. Please use this podcast as a marketing asset and tool to connect and re-connect with others. My final question will be, “How can we learn more about your work?”
What’s next for you?
This last question brings us back to today and is a future facing question for you to talk about what you are up to in the world now and next… how folks can see more of you or your work…
If you have any special offers or announcements, please make sure you let me know!
Getting The Best Sound
Seasoned Zoom user with a podcast microphone setup? Great!
You can skip to the next ‘What Else Is Important’ section.
If you don’t -here are four ways to get the best sound to help us make sure the show makes for enjoyable listening.
1. Where possible please make sure you’re in a quiet environment. It’s super helpful if you can stay away from noisy fans, open windows, open-plan offices. Please also make sure you have all your devices (computer/cellphone…) off or, set to silent!
2. Rooms with soft furnishings are better than corridors or rooms with hard walls and floors where sound can bounce around. It avoids you sounding like you’re stuck in an echo chamber!
3. Rather than using the inbuilt microphone on your computer, it’s better to use the inbuilt microphone in the headphones that probably came with your smartphone. If you don’t have any, it’d be great if you can borrow some.
4. Please make sure you have a strong wifi signal where you are.
We’ll make sure to test everything before we start the official interview.
What Else Is Important?
Let me know if there’s anything you particularly want to talk about or we need to avoid talking about in advance.
There are spaces in the booking form for you to send me a short bio, links to your website, social media platforms, any hashtags you use and a headshot for social media and web.
I’ll be sending you links to show notes and social media assets so please share these with your followers to let them know.
Thanks so much for taking part.
Marty
