SS018 - Living a God Life
The contentious election and COVID-19 are just two of the things causing strife in our society, and loneliness and depression are just two of the results of that strife. Division and hurt are at a high, and many people are struggling to find happiness. It’s safe to say that a lot of people are not living abundantly. Society is sick, so what’s the cure?
Today I (Dr. Matt Hook) talk about living a God life. I discuss what it means to be a Christian in a secular world, how social media is not the answer, and the importance of both a private and communal spiritual life. I talk about loneliness and the purpose of growth. I get into how love of God allows you to transcend manipulation, lies, your past, and more. I finish by listing four tips to help you grow your God life.
“The Gospel is not a hammer. It’s good medicine.”
