Forgiveness
Forgiveness can feel like a huge thing to achieve and you may not fully understand the concept. We know it's important to forgive others, but how do we do that? The world we are in will always challenge us and people may not act the way you want or do the things you need. So, how do you handle that without harboring resentment and being weighed down by your expectations of others? Being unforgiving or having unforgiveness in your heart will shackle you and affect your life in many ways.
In today's episode, we discuss the current plague of unforgiveness in society and how it impacts people's lives. We explain how it can be easy to fall into the habit of debt collecting in relationships and why forgiveness is an equation. We discuss the obstacles that people need to overcome and why finding forgiveness is a courageous thing. We also talk about how you will know when you have truly forgiven someone, recognizing the signs you may need outside help to get there, and the true meaning of repentance.
"The unforgiven and the unforgiving person, they are plagued with guilt, they are plagued with resentment, but they end up spreading it."
- Dr. Matt Hook
